Attendance system using face Recognition

In order to maintain discipline and efficiency, attendance management is an essential component of both academic and professional settings.Manual entry and card-based systems are examples of traditional attendance methods that are frequently ineffective, time-consuming, and prone to proxy attendance.In order to precisely identify people and track their attendance in real-time, this project suggests an automated face recognition attendance system that makes use of computer vision.The system detects and recognises faces using OpenCV and Python facial recognition tools after taking real-time pictures with a webcam.The system automatically records attendance with the individual's name, date, and timestamp after a face is matched with the current database.For simple retrieval and analysis, the data is safely kept in a database.
