Solution of a model for two-dimensional intradiffusion

A system of partial dierential equations corresponding to two-dimensional intradiusion (Wicke) model for a weakly nonlinear isotherm of sorption is solved by reducing it to the Burgers' equation.Some limiting cases interesing from the physical point of view are considered in details.
