Automated Simple Analysis Attack

In this paper we discuss simple side channel analysis attack against our Montgomery$kP$implementation. As long as the attempt to extract the key is done by a visual inspection of the recorded traces the attack is not successful, but when we automated the search for differences in the shape of the traces it becomes successful. In addition we show that the attack becomes even easier when the design works at higher frequencies, using state of the art FPGAs.
