Dictionaries and Strings

In this chapter we will mainly focus on two data types: dictionaries and strings. Dictionaries can be considered a generalization of the list data type, where the indices are not required to be integers. We have already used strings multiple times in the previous chapters, but we will revisit them here to introduce a number of new and useful functions.
