Identification of Indian Currency Denomination UsingDeep Learning

In the run of our life, currency plays the most important role. Identifying currency denomination is sometimes the most difficult thing people could find. Since we are living in the computer world, everything could be possible with the machine. Detecting object from the image is becoming the interesting research in the recent years, which can be done by using different deep learning techniques. This is a framework for recognizing and identifying the denomination of the currency depending on the trained currency images. We are using six denominations of the Indian currency which are captured in all orientations for testing and training datasets. For accurate extraction of features, we are using Convolutional Neural Network model. Our experimental results demonstrate with 99.44% of training and 93.48% of validation accuracy.
