Standards Matters/Mentor's Musings on a Standardization Conundrum: Blockchain vs. DLTs

This column illustrates the classic case of a common phenomenon of name recognition causing confusion: when the success of a specific service, product, or application overtakes the “umbrella” to which it belongs and ends up devouring its namesake. In the same way not all sticky notes are Post-its, not all DLTs are Blockchain. Essentially, it attempts to give a preview of the Standardization landscape and delves into the imperatives & opportunities of standardization in the Blockchain/DLTs domain.
