Application of MATLAB software in digital signal processing by fast Fourier transform

Theoretical bases o f digital signal processing must be visualized in order to be comprehensible and applicable. Software package Matlab is an excellent partner in this mission. Thanks to its flexible environment, a wide range o f built-in functions, and the possibility of algorithm developing and programming Matlab has become an indispensable tool in almost all areas o f engineering. One o f the most important algorithms for digital signal processing is fast Fourier transform whose function is built into Matlab. In this paper some o f the basic examples o f digital signal processing by means of fast Fourier transform and Matlab software are visualized.
