3-D reconstruction from conically tilted projections

As shown earlier, reconstruction from conically tilted projections has the advantage of delivering a smoother background around the elongated image point than reconstruction from single axis tilted projections, because of the smaller blind region in Fourier space. In this paper a weighted backprojection for conical tilting is presented. In contrast to the iterative techniques of the ART-type the shape of the image point and its clutter are defined and predictable.
