This chapter provides details on several projects that are time dependent and condition dependent. What does that mean? For each project, there are two variables measured. In most of these projects, one variable is time. The second variable is the value of interest that the researcher is trying to determine and how it changes over time. This is a key concept in science and engineering because it happens very often and sometimes is very hard to measure. This chapter highlights several very interesting sensors that bring us closer to the Star Trek tricorder.
