The transfer alignment based on UKF for low-cost INS missile-borne weapons

The demands for precision strikes and weapon guidance are increasing in modern warfare. However, for low-precision, low-cost MEMS INS missile-borne weapons, due to the low accuracy and poor stability of the navigation system, the initial attitude error angle of the transfer alignment is relatively large, so the conventional assumption that the small angle is no longer effective. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a MEMS-SINS transfer alignment solution based on large declination-based odorless Kalman filter (UKF). The simulation results show that the attitude error angle estimated by UKF is very close to the real value and meets the application requirements.
