Advanced Computational Intelligence Methods and Practical Applications: PLENARY PAPER

The lecture is focusing on some computational intelligence methods in designing of complex systems. Computational Intelligence is an emerging area which provides tools for modeling and analyzing of complex systems. It uses techniques like fuzzy logic, neural networks, genetic algorithms, etc. Nowadays fuzzy logic and expert systems are considered good approaches to solve control problems in a wide range of applications. We present practical applications of some intelligent complex systems in different fields by providing them with elements of deterministic knowledge about the processes and by assisting the design with simulations.
