Objective To study the effect of upper limb rehabilitation robot training combined with aerobic exercise on pulmonary function and quality of life in patients with convalescent stroke. Methods From January, 2017 to January, 2019, 246 patients with convalescent stroke admitted to our hospital were selected as research objects. They were divided into a control group, taking aerobic exercise training, and an observation group, taking upper limb rehabilitation robot training combined with aerobic exercise, according to the treatment methods, 123 cases for each group. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results Before the training, there were no statistical differences in the levels of lung function indicators, FMA score, and MBI score between the two groups (all P>0.05). After the training, the levels of FVC, FEV1, PEF, and FEV1/FVC were significantly higher and the scores of FMA and MBI were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Upper limb rehabilitation robot training combined with aerobic exercise can significantly improve the pulmonary function and quality of life of patients with convalescent stroke, so it is worthy of clinical application. Key words: Upper limb rehabilitation robot; Aerobic exercise; Convalescent stroke
