Wireless sensor networks are developing at a rapid speed. It is usually deployed in order to collect some real-time information, such as forest monitoring, coal mine fire monitoring. There have been some researches on the application of wireless sensor network in different fields, which mainly focus on the delay, loss and fusion of data. The security of wireless sensor network is also an important and challenging task, which is also lacking in all previous researched. In this paper, we propose a two-layer detection scheme based on RSSI and residual energy. Firstly, the high energy node uses the RSSI-based method to detect all normal nodes which including Sybil nodes. Then, the nodes which pass the RSSI detection mechanism are further detected by the method that based on the residual energy. After detection, the Sybil node is banned from participating in the following cluster-head election. In the network structure, a hierarchical clustering model is proposed to select cluster heads that based on the square root of residual energy. The cluster heads are responsible for transmitting real-time data packets to the base station. This method has high network lifetime and high detection rate.
