Objective To analyze the effect of aerobic exercise combined with conventional rehabilitation on the treatment and pulmonary function of stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 78 stroke patients with hemiplegia who were admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were enrolled. The patients were divided into observation group (39 cases) and control group (39 cases) according to the hospital number. The patients in the control group underwent routine rehabilitation, and the patients in the observation group underwent aerobic exercise on the basis of the control group. And the results of cardiopulmonary exercise test, motor function, and daily living ability were compared between the two groups. Results The VO2peak, AT, and VEpeak of the observation group were (16.52±1.01) ml/(kg•min), (13.98±1.05) ml/(kg•min), (42.25±4.66) L/min, which were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The Fugl-Meyer score and Barthel index of the observation group were (72.25±5.48), (79.25±5.14), which were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Aerobic exercise combined with routine rehabilitation for stroke patients with hemiplegia can significantly improve the quality of life of patients and restore their motor function and cardiopulmonary function, which is worth further promotion.
