Query processing in the database means the entire activity which involves query translation into low-level instructions. Query optimization is the most important process for the execution of complex SQL statements in a relational database. In modern days, the state of querying the data with the humanities of set-level comparison is high in accumulation data warehouse and OLAP applications. The efficient processing of queries is an important requirement in many interactive environments that involve massive amounts of data. The function based technology can be used to process complex queries in the data warehousing environment. Thus, in this paper, we take a different perspective and concentrate on optimizing the query with a range based set predicates in Data warehousing environment. So we propose an efficient algorithm as Range based set predicate processing approach. Then examine the time complexity on large data set with multiple tables. The efficiency of our technique is demonstrated by running experiments using the TPC-H benchmark dataset.
