Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the intravenous thrombolysis and arterial embolectomy of aged patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods Totally 72 cases of aged patients with myocardial infarction admitted in our hospital from September 2013 to September 2015 were selected as the research object. Patients were divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. Patients in the study group received comprehensive nursing in intravenous thrombolysis, while patients in the control group received routine nursing. The nursing effect was compared between two groups. Results The incidence rate of complications in the study group was 1.11%, and it was significantly lower than 30.56% in the control group (P<0.05) ; the time from admission to thrombolysis in the study group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusions Comprehensive nursing intervention in the intravenous thrombolysis and arterial embolectomy of aged patients with acute myocardial infarction can significantly shorten the time from admission to thrombolysis, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, so it is worth promoting. Key words: Aged; Acute myocardial infarction; Intravenous thrombolysis; Arterial embolectomy; Comprehensive nursing
