Analysis of environmental risk factors of pulmonary thromboembo-lism in Uigur people and Han people

Objective To explore the the difference of environmental risk factors of pulmonary thrombo-embolism between Uigur people and Han people. Methods 64 inpatients with pulmonary thromboembolism from 1996 to 2006 were reviewed. Results Among 64 inpatients, the incidence of lower limb deep vein in Uigur peo-ple was higher than that in Han People, and the symptom of swollen and painful was obvious. While the incidence of cancer in Han people was higher than that in Uigur people. Conclusions Most of pulmonary thromboembolism patients exist environmental risk factors. And the environmental risk factors are different between Uigur people and Hart people. Nurses should strengthen the comprehensive assessment for high - risk patients, and detect the symp-toms early and take predictability nursing measures coordinating with thrombolytie therapy or anticoagulation them-py to reduce the mortality of pulmonary thrombcembolism.
