Map drawn by Te Wharekorari for W. B. D. Mantell in 1848 showing the South Island lake Ohau and the rivers associated with it, with their Maori names. It is probable that Te Wharekorari drew the lines of the map and dictated the Maori names to Mantell, who recorded them in the correct areas. The handwriting appears to be Mantell's.
