Research on Prediction of Movie Box Office Based on Internet Comments

Movie box office is the key factor affecting movie revenue, and box office prediction has received widespread attention. By analyzing the characteristics of movie online reviews, this paper uses semantic orientation, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) nearest neighbor classification algorithm and regression equation to construct movie box office prediction model, and validates this method with actual movie data.
