This paper describes the fabrication of an agarose gel microchamber to construct three-dimensional (3D) neural network in vitro. For the drug development aimed at improvement of neurological disease, reconstruction of in vitro 2D neural network has been studied. However, two-dimensional (2D) culture is insufficient to represent the physiological characteristics of the human body. In this paper, we fabricated the mold of 3D neural network by two-photon stereo lithography, transferred to agarose gel and removed the mold from agarose gel. We believe that our fabrication method would be able to fabricate more complex 3D neural network and be application to drug screening.
