Analyzing Effort and Cost Estimation Mechanism For Quality Software

For best Quality Software, it is essential to have best Effort and Cost Estimation Model. For this purpose, four Effort Techniques, COCOMO, Fuzzy neural Network, MOPSO, and SVR are considered in this research work. This work provides the comparative analysis of performance of these four Estimation techniques in case of ORGANIC, Semidetached and Embedded projects. The simulation results of this research work indicate that MOPSO technique performs better than COCOMO, Fuzzy neural Network and SVR. The accuracy of this estimation technique is 58% which is highest accuracy rate. In addition to this, it provides comparative analysis among Basic Cost Estimation Model, GA based Cost Estimation Model and PSO based Cost Estimation Model to find and highlight the best Cost Estimation Model. The Results shows that PSO based Cost Estimation Model provide better results as compare to traditional cost estimation model and GA based Cost Estimation Model.
