EFFICIENT MALICIOUS NODE IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR IMPROVING PACKET DELIVERY RATE IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKS WITH SECURED ROUTE

Journal of Critical Reviews · 2020

Mobile ad Hoc Networks are simply the collection of independent nodes that can associate with each other by making use of signal system. In ad hoc networks, the nodes not in direct range depend/subordinate upon transitional nodes to connect and communicate. For verifying its restricted assets or to sort out various types of assaults, the intermediate node drops every one of the bundles experiencing it rather to transfer them to its destination node. Nodes communicate with one another with no fixed route. MANETs are dynamically established at necessary situations for secure data transfer when the fixed infrastructure does not work. All the nodes in the MANET has mobility nature. Because of versatility of nodes, the entire network is effectively influenced by numerous kinds of assaults which causes huge loss of information, damage or error in route in the system. Secure information transmission is the most significant issue in MANET. The rising patterns for versatile network systems and verified information transmission stage are critical dependent on the situations like military, natural disasters etc. In this manuscript an efficient approach to improve the dependability of information transmission by identifying the malicious nodes in the MANET are introduced. The proposed strategy plans to assess the Trust Levels of the Network Nodes with Data Transfer Rate (TLN-DTR). Based on the trust level and the data transfer rate the malicious nodes are detected in the network. To stay away from the issue of malicious nodes, trust is determined dependent on the successful communication. Dynamically changing topologies makes it difficult to decide the malicious nodes that influence the communication in MANET. The proposed technique is contrasted with conventional strategies and the outcomes show that the proposed strategy is better than the traditional techniques.
