[The learning of the estimation of time intervals and its references].

Summary The accuracy of estimations of 30 s durations was investigated by the methods of production and reproduction. The experiment has been performed in three phases : without error-correction, with error-information, and again without error-correction. Accuracy was the same in production and in reproduction and the learning is maintained. The production of verbal « tops » during the estimation of durations does not seem to be a determining parameter. The cadence of these « tops » is fairly constant and the number of tops is highly correlated with the produced durations.
