ABSTRACT: This paper investigates adaptive partitioning of Three-Dimensional Fractal Video using three different techniques: spatio-temporal, HVT and region-based partitioning. These techniques represent a trade off between between the partitioning complexity and overhead, versus a reduction in the number of transforms to code a sequence.
