Testing have a significant role to play in software development cycle. In this life cycle, model-based testing has more potential than manual-based testing in the definition of time, cost, effort, resources. In this, generating the test-cases plays an efficient role that can find out the faults and also assures the quality of the system. Model-based testing which includes a UML diagrams can be used to produce the test-cases for distinct scenarios. So, different models and algorithms like BFS, DFS are available for generating the test-sequences of a different scenario. It also covers various coverage criteria that include all states, all transitions, and many others. This paper represents a survey on several algorithms for producing the test-cases based on UML diagrams and prioritizing them.
