This encryption technique involves two major steps such as scrambling the image using a transform based scheme and encoding the image using a DNA based chaotic map encoding scheme. For scrambling the image, a transform based method namely Arnold transform is used. This new algorithm improves the image security effectively to avoid deciphering, and it also can restore the image as same as the original image almost, which reaches to the purpose of image safe and reliable transmission. Later the scrambled image will undergo an image encoding using a DNA based multi chaotic mapping. Simulation results show that the algorithm has good encryption effect and security.
