Coherent Ising Machines (CIM) can solve NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems in very high-speed. The CIM obtains a solution of a NP hard problem in several milliseconds. The CIM can run the optimization algorithm based on the Hopfield Tank neural networks and is applicable to various combinatorial optimization problems. In this paper, we proposed the CIM-based optimization method to radio resource allocation in wireless communication systems. As examples of the applications, we apply the proposed scheme to channel assignment in IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs, channel assignment and power control in Device-to-Device communications. We derive coupling strength and external magnetic fields for the CIM and enable that the CIM can solve these optimization problems in millisecond order.
