Intelligent System for Child Safety

Child safety and tracking is a major concern as the more number of crimes on children is reported nowadays. With this motivation, a smart GPS child safety and missing location intimation system are developed to help the parents to locate and monitor their children. The system is developed in embedded C and interfaced with GPS, GSM & fingerprint module, LCD and Bluetooth. The novelty of the work is that the system automatically alerts the parent/caretaker by sending SMS when immediate attention is required for the child missing somewhere. Child fingerprint can be enrolled along with the details in a database. If the child is missed in any place, the third-party person has this proposed system along with android applications. The missed child finger is kept on the fingerprint module. The controller checks the concern child's name with an existing database. The child fingerprint is matched if the data is available on the existing database. The above system ensures the safety and alert missing location of children
