Secure Distributed Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using Proactive Secret Sharing

Mobile AdHoc networks are infra-structure less and self-organizing networks that come up on the fly and security of data travelling across the network is an issue. Work in this paper describes a security mechanism for a mobile adhoc network in a distributed set up. The security technique discussed uses threshold cryptography and proactive secret sharing which improves the security in security sensitive applications. The technique is being studied through Simulations in order to check the security of data travelling across the network.
