An Adaptive Lockstep Synchronization Method for Scene Collaborative Editing of 3D Geometry
Tao Chen, Zhiguang Wang, Qiang Lü · 2019
The collaborative and interactive scene editing in 3D geometry is an efficient method for field group work, but there are relatively few studies in this area at present. It is known that the existing methods for collaborative interaction editing are lockstep synchronization methods, which can solve the problem of multi-node synchronization editing. However, the existing lockstep synchronization method uses a fixed synchronization interval. When the network environment is not stable or the network of each node is different, the adaptability is poor. In order to realize the collaborative and interactive editing scene in 3D geometry, this paper presents a method of adaptive lockstep synchronization. Compared with the existing lockstep synchronization method, this method uses the adaptive synchronization interval instead of the fixed synchronization interval, thus resolving the drawbacks of the fixed synchronization interval lockstep synchronization method. The experimental results show that this method can realize the collaborative and interactive scene editing in 3D geometry under different network environments.
