The current research in cancer nanotechnology focused on understanding the interactions of materials with the biological system at the molecular level. The technique of inventing any novel material to treat any carcinogenic condition requires the focus of genetic variations and understanding of data analysis. For example, the change in gene at the nucleotide level has a notable influence on the protein to transform in the fusion protein. Many computational methods can predict the structures of fusion genes and proteins that contribute to cancer progression. The current study 136 focused on identifying fusion protein and developing related targeted molecules to design suitable therapeutics in particular malignancy. The nanotechnology-based delivery of small nucleotides and nucleic acids is an efficient therapy for different types of cancers. The computational methods and tools deal with novel hypotheses of material discovery and design, improving properties and prediction of drug selection that could increase performance and reduce the time from drug discovery to marketing. This chapter presents a complete review of nanoinformatics databases, ontologies, machine learning, and its applications. There is a prospect in the field of nanobiotechnology to compare and integrate information across diverse fields of study through bioinformatics. The study includes the use of informatics to advance the biological and clinical applications of basic research in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
