The Web has become an increasingly importantmedium for the publication of cultural heritage (CH)content of various kinds. Libraries, archives, museums offer collections of objects for online consultation through collection browsers. Documentation of intangible heritage(ICH)has become availableas audio and video recordings and as interactive hypertext applications, even as games. There arelarge national and multinational CH portal projects active in the collection and publication of contentfrom different sources via centralized services.Recommendation systems(RS)have been created to track this progress and offer users new content based on their preferences and browsing habits.A recommendation system for CH (RSCH) is a subclass of information filtering systems. These systems benefit both service providers and their users. They reduce the cost of searching for relevant items of interest to users. The two main methods of recommendation arethe collaborative filtering basedrecommendation and the content-based.
