Music and the Presentation of Material

Lynn Dhority · 2020

One of Georgi Lozanov’s most original contributions is the role he assigns to music in the “concert presentations” of new material. Music is one of the most potent carriers of suggestion operating in our culture. Nearly everyone in this age of radios, stereos, tape recorders, compact discs, etc. reaches frequently for music to accompany moments of his/her day. The first, more formal, “presentation” of text material, comes during the global prelude to the “concert session.”.
