UAV Classification and Associated Mission Planning

Abstract: This chapter deals with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) classification and general associated missions. It gives specific examples of both already existing and potential future new applications of UAS, particularly the multi-rotor platform-based UAS. It mainly addresses UAS dedicated to “professional” activities, as opposed to “leisure”.
