p-Bits for Probabilistic Computing

Digital computing is based on deterministic bits that take on one of two values 0 and 1. At the other extreme is the field of quantum computing based on q-bits which are delicate superpositions of 0 and 1, and have to be entangled using coherent coupling techniques requiring novel technologies operating at cryogenic temperatures.
