Research on the Design of Puzzle Games Based on Unity 3D

The last century was a period of rapid development of the Internet, along with the development of a variety of games. In the years that followed, the game gradually became one of the most important economic pillars in various developed countries. At the same time, following the trend of The Times, more and more game experiences reflect contemporary culture profoundly, allowing people to feel the changes and experiences of culture at any time. Game culture has gradually become a part of social culture and an important culture that affects people's lives. Puzzle games can promote brain thinking and enhance the skills in five cognitive domains: memory, language, attention, logical reasoning, visual and spatial recognition. For teenagers whose brains are not fully developed, playing games is a kind of training, which can improve the brain activity as much as possible. Based on the currently widely used Unity3D game engine as the development tool, this paper designs and implements a puzzle game GEM WAR. It is demonstrated in the form of strategic troop deployment by both sides, and improves the gameplay by adding the principle of mutual restraint between arms. Block surface game style, cartoon character image, more can attract the player's eyeball, and make this puzzle game more attractive.
