In the era of information network, the development of mobile Internet in the era of big data and the emergence of new media and multiple information make the knowledge acquired in the learning process scattered and unsystematic, which is a disordered and unrelated knowledge fragment. Under the background of big data, students' learning approaches are diversified and fragmentation learning methods are applied in English teaching, which improves students' interest in learning English and their skills in English application. This paper mainly introduces the connotation of fragmentation learning in college English, and studies the feasibility of fragmentation learning in college English under the background of big data. This paper mainly elaborates the meaning of college English fragmentation learning, the feasibility of college English fragmentation learning in the context of big data, and the study of college English fragmentation learning in the context of big data, hoping to provide theoretical reference for the experts and scholars of English teaching.
