‘EARTHBOT’- The Smart Sanitation Robot

With the increasing waste production rates, solid waste management has become the need of the hour. Dumped unmanaged wastes causes severe harm to humans and also drastically affects the environment. It also causes various climatic changes and hinders the economic growth of countries. Environmentally sound waste management techniques touches various critical aspects of development of a country. Thus, this paper proposes an idea of ‘Earthbot’ which is smart enough to both collect waste and segregate them. The paper also discusses the possible waste management solutions, after segregation of waste is done by the robot.
