Due to various activities in nuclear power plants such as radiation leakage, nuclear fuel recycling and other activities, low level radiation causes various health issues such as infertility, weakened immunity. When a nuclear radiations are leaked to an open environment the atmospheric parameters like temperature, smoke, humidity, sound and carbon monoxide level increases. In this paper, minimal effort, Linux based freely available Things Speak Web server, which is turned to a system situated on the Internet of Things (IoT), is used to monitor the above mentioned parameters. By monitoring these parameters, we are detecting the radiation leakage. The changes of all these parameters are measured by sensors and display of those data can be done by Things Speak Web server.
