Study on the Influence of HPM Backpan Offset to HRMD Backset

A geometric model is established and mathematical analysis is performed for the calibration method of HPM device in this paper, and then the transfer function for backpan offset to the HRMD backset is obtained, afterwards, the influence of the backpan offset to HRMD backset is studied. With the backset tolerance requirement as the control target, a more tightened HPM backpan offset tolerance range suitable for HRMD measurement is determined, and the data provide technical support for HPM calibration method.
