Coding was a privilege known and utilised by only a select few, in even fewer institutions and universities. GitHub provides a good insight on what is going on in the world of coding as it is a place where developers learn about new technologies and new ways of tackling old problems, contribute to what other coders have written, and fulfill their curiosity. Visualising the thinking processes in coding, and ultimately generating “tangible” computational outputs are key elements to both improving the coding experience and enhancing the desired outputs. Animation is the process of manipulating an image or a shape with the aim of giving the impression that an image or shape is moving and/or transforming into a different shape. This process can be followed either manually by hand, or digitally through coding.
