Implementation of Special Modulii Set Adders
Shaheen Khan, Zainul Abdin Jaffery · International Conference on Computing for Sustainable Global Development · 2019
Modulo addition is considered as a main portion in a RNS system. This brief presents the most widely used special modulo adders. The special modulo adders of the form 2$^{n}-1, 2^{n}$ and 2$^{n}+$1 are designed for n=3 for modulo values m=7, 8 and 9. The implementation is performed using ASIC 28/32 nm library saed32hvt_ff0p85v25c. The obtained metrics ADP (i.e. Area $\times$Delay) also ADPP (i.e. Area $\times\Delta y\times$ Power) are used for the performance measurement of these special modulo adders. The convenience of computation makes the use of these adders very popular.
