This paper proposes a PCT-WuR protocol that can reduce the delay of packet communication in a DCT-WuR based tree network. According to the network traffic, it adaptively decides whether to send two data packets at the wake-up time of the node, thereby reducing the number of nodes containing wake-up receivers, packet communication delay and packet loss probability. Finally, this paper improves the node loss probability model to analyze the WuR MAC protocol based on the M/G/1/2 queue. The results show the efficiency of the proposed protocol, PTC-WuR reduced the packet loss probability by 23.09%, the delay by 21.48%, and the node packet processing speed by 11.36%.
