As a part of the protection among distributed systems, numerous services and resources want protection from unauthorized use. Remote authentication is that the most ordinarily used technique to work out the identity of a distant shopper. This paper presents the aim of two factor authentication, which is to magnify the strength of authentication grounded on password by having the need of user to give an extra validating strand and it also investigates the usability of two factor authentication, its comparison with other types of authentication being used in market.
