Event Detection and Retrieval in User Generated Videos using Spatio Temporal Fusion Method

Detection and retrieval of user specific interested events in user-generated videos (UGV) is undoubtedly a difficult task due to huge amount of videos on the web and its restricted capturing circumstances. In this article, we proposed effective event detection and retrieval method to identify and retrieve video events just through browsing in the user generated videos by integrating both the spatial and the temporal information. An experimental set up of the proposed method is tested on you tube videos.
