To find representative objects in a database is one of the most important step for analyzing the database. Typical representative objects have maximum or minimum value in an attribute of the database. However, to disclose such representative objects' values infringe privacy of individual in certain amount even if identifiers and quasi identifiers are hidden. To solve the privacy dilemma of database analysis, we have invented the idea of set skyline. The set skyline is a collection of representative sets in a database. Such representative sets can tell us as informative knowledge as representative objects without disclosing individual privacy. We have studies efficient algorithms for computing the set skyline and developed privacy-aware information analysis methods. We present a digest of such set skyline studies in this paper.
