“Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD)’ is having a high mortality rate not only locally but also worldwide. Since diabetes is one of the major causes of CVD, analysis of diabetic conditions, its internal causes and effects on cardiac networks is a necessity in the present scenario. Many researchers have already discussed the effects of diabetes on a heart. The two conditions prevailing in diabetes, i.e. hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, are two main factors affecting the heart and its functioning. Both the factors impose atherosclerosis, a condition where narrowing and hardening of arteries occur due to deposition of plaque around the walls. This may prove to be lethal since it may lead to cardiovascular failure. In this paper, we will analyze cardiovascular diseases with the help of a Petri net (PN) modeling. Here, we have used Petri net modular software PIPE 3.0 to analyze and validate the model. PIPE 3.0 PN software demonstrates the possible responsible features for diabetes and how these features create cardiovascular diseases in the human body.
