Unified communications Network (UCN) is a frame-work for integrating different real time and asynchronous communication tools, with the aim to improve productivity, business communication and collaboration. It does not correspond to a singular technology rather then it is a system of enterprise communication devices which are interconnected and applications that are necessary for doing business and for smooth flow of information. Unified communication networks ultimately integrate the software such that it supports both synchronous and asynchronous communications in such a way that the end user has easy access to all the tools necessary for the network. An UC platform (i.e. one or more back ends systems) supports unified communications networks, and they provide integration among services and give access to the front-end clients. Users moving from one mode of communication to another mode within the same session are also supported by UCN. This paper discusses about the Integrated Unified communication Networks and PSTN Networks and how the performance of PSTN networks and UCN networks are analyzed so that these old PSTN systems can be converged into new UCN systems. Our aim is to get a congestion free efficient UCN network and to achieve this network model is designed and the key performance parameters of the networks such as Jitter, Latency, Delay, etc are evaluated for it and based on the analysis and results suggestions are given so that the new UCN networks which will replace traditional PSTN systems should be congestion free networks and operate with good network efficiency.
