The main purpose of this attempt is to explore optimization techniques utilized in nano formulations using the Design-Expert software. In this field, the advanced nano formulations, such as nano emulsions, nanostructured lipids and other novel systems for drug delivery utilizes the core concepts of nanotechnology. Already established hypothesis is far better accepted than blindly experimenting; thus, the design expert® is the one of the most promising software utilized to design a formulation and expected results would speak about the concentration of the parameters to be taken. This article highlights the recent work done on nanoparticles and various designs used to optimize the preparations using Design expert. Here, data was collected from past work done in optimization techniques in making nano formulations from reputed journals and scientific papers. With growing science and technology, various factors in the pharmaceutical field had become trouble-free by incorporating such optimization technology (Design-expert software) that emerged in pharmaceutical research, especially for application and advancement of nanotechnology for designing novel delivery systems.
