Opportunistic Network is a basically a subset of wireless mobile ad-hoc networks. The mobile ad-hoc networks based on delivering the packets by taking the support of any opportunities that exist are called as opportunistic networks. Short-range networking technologies can be used to enable the message transfer between the nodes within the communication range of each other because of their mobility. In these networks route is not fixed; the next hop is opportunistically chosen if the node brings the message closer to the destination. In this research paper, opportunistic routing protocol is proposed which works on the rank centrality of the nodes and protocol is also reducing the replication by controlling the flooding.
